Things about the film.

1. In the beginning of the film Michael Moore walks into a bank to get an account, so he can get a gun or another weapon. But first he has to be checked if he has a criminal history, if he is ok, he can get a gun. He gets a catalogue so he can choose a gun, and he choose it and walks home.
My opinion: I think its too easy to get a gun in USA, because in Denmark its very difficult to get a gun or another weapon because of the law.

2. Two students walk into Columbine School with guns. They enter the library and start shooting and some people were shot. One of the two students takes a girl and threaten her. She screams " Don’t shoot me" but he don’t obey, and he shoot another girl in her head, so she died at once.
After the shooting in the library the two students goes into the cantina and starts shooting again.
In the whole period they shoot one teacher, twelve students and after that they shoot themselves.
My opinion: I think its terrible to do such a thing, against innocent persons.

3. In the same town Columbine was another shooting. It was a little boy who was six-years old. He has taken his uncles gun to school and he shot a little girl from his class. It was a record for school shooting.
My opinion: I think its odd that it could happen In a school in the same town and because he was so young.

4. Michael Moore visited a man who knew one of the students, he was hated of many people in the town. He had a gun under his pillow in his bed.
My opinion: I think its ok because he was hated and wanted to protect him selves.

School shooting is when a person have a gun, and he/she use a gun to shoot the pupils and teachers.
I know its mostly happening in USA, and its because it is easy to get a gun for the persons.

1. The moderator Lisa's first question to the members of the debate is: Why do people own guns? 

Write down what Andrea, Maxwell, and Jessica believe is the reason for this.

Andrea: They have guns to protect themselves and for sport.

Maxwell:  They bay guns so they fell a little more macho. And they are afraid for black people.He means americans have a culture like a fat cat.

Jessica: Women have also guns because fear for walking in the streets at night. 

2. Jessica says that many Americans waant to have a gun because of the media and films. Do you agree with Jessica? Why? Why not?

I: I will not agree with her. Because the violense get worse in the USA.

3. Rhajik talks a lot about the military when he is talking about guns. What does he say about the military and their need and use of guns?

Rhajik: The military gets respect for other people in America. They use them in war and to protect the country.

4. Maxwell names some facts about guns. Name at least one of them. Comment on the fact. 

5. Maxwell says that the reason why criminals have guns is because the citizens are armed. Do you think that is right? How do you think it is in Denmark?

I: I think it is not okay.

I: In Denmark it is illegall to have guns and other weapeons.

 

6. What does Andrea think should be changed in  America's gun law?

Andrea: She means the law should be changed.

7. Rhajik says that power should be returned to the people, the individual. It should be totally legal to own guns. No one should rule. We should be responsible for our own lives. What do you think about this? 

I: The crime will be more violen, if everyone have weapons.

8. In the end of the dabte, all the debate members are asked to say in short what they think about guns. Choose at least two of the members and write down their opinion. 

Andrea: She means that nobody should have a gun. 

Jessica: She wants people to be educated to have a gun.

 

9. Lisa ends the debate by giving the Americans an advice about guns. What does she say?

Lisa: You should think before you use a gun.

10. Who do you agree with the most of the five members of the debate and why?

I: Its Andrea because she will have no guns.

The little mermaid

The little mermaid is made of Edvard Eriksen, he was a sculptor in Denmark in 1913.She is situated in Langelinie. As a model he used his wife Eline Eriksen.
In 1964 the little mermaid lost her head, someone had cut it off, and no one knew who it was. There have been many other vandalism to her. In this year she is moved to Shanghai in China. because there is a exhibition called EXPO 2010.

Denmark is a little country in europa. There are ca. 5,5 mil people  living in Denmark. Its a plain country, whitout any mountains and rain forest, and desert. The six greatest cities in Denmark are Copenhagen the capital, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg, Esbjerg, Randers. In Copenhagen we have a amusement park called Tivoli. And we have lots of hotels because we have many tourists, comes to see the litle mermaid and Christiania. It is a place where everbody can come and go as they like to.
